Day to Night Excercise

For the WDI Imageneering internship application in 2025, I wanted to attempt a project in a day-to-night shot in a weekend and this was the result.

The Plate

The first step was to create a clean plate of the plate to convert to night.

For the night plate, I created a shadow clean plate with a keyer stack plate and color correction of highlights and desaturation.

The Next step was to add moonlight, clouds, and fog light to enhance the composition.

And the last step was to add the projection in nuke with monitor lighting,
